Hello Earthling,

What if I told you, that more than half of you is not you.

That you are trillions of other living beings,

all made from recycled stardust, amoeba, mushrooms and apes.

That you are a habitat.

That you are nature.

That nature is you.

Welcome to Earth Time World.

As beings of nature,

we have evolved through deep time,

as part of and made of many millions and trillions

of other living systems,

of our wondrous planet Earth.

Earth Time World brings the wonder of deep time to life

through play and learning in nature.

Earth Time World enriches the sense we have of our ourselves

among the many millions of trillions

of other extraordinary living creatures and systems,

in the places we live - in enchanting and wondrous ways.

Earth Time World deepens belonging

and helps us make sense of our changing world.

Dear Adult

We find ourselves in uncertain times, facing some of the greatest challenges in human history.

Wherever we live in the world, we are in relationship with all other beings and place; inhaling and exhaling the breath of the trees, plants and other living creatures; plants, fungi, bugs and microbes. We are in relationship with the weather and seasons, the landscapes, waterways and skies.

But over time, over hundreds, even thousands of years many of our ways of living, learning, knowing and being have become disconnected from our natural world.

These ways are damaging to ourselves, our relationships with each other, most other living beings and the planet; destroying biodiversity, changing the weather, polluting the oceans and even the air we breath

It’s become so clear in recent years that it’s overwhelming, especially our children and young people.

We intuitively know that enriching our connection with our natural world in the places we live deepens our sense of belonging and meaning and connects us to our community.

So, we’ve created fun and enchanting ways to enrich children and young people’s relationship with the many living beings in their own local places, as part of nature as we go about changing the ways to better inhabit this wondrous planet.

We’ve called it Earth Time World.

We are thrilled that you’re here.
